WORDS MATTER!

Hey Y'all!

Happy Labor Day! Welcome to the very first post of my blog! My name is Andrea Williams and I live in College Station, Texas! I am a Louisiana girl at heart who was transplanted to Texas! Can't believe I am actually doing this!! Blogging is something that has been on my heart for a long time but "life" has gotten in the way so many times and I have often just put blogging aside .... I don't have time, I don't have much to say, nobody wants to read what I have to say, I have other things to do, the kids need me.  Blah, blah, blah.  My negative self talk is preventing me from doing something that I really wanted to try.  

Lately, this blog has been tugging at my heart.  I am a firm believer in SIGNS in life.  About two weeks ago, out of the blue I began to get these emails.  They are from a company called Word Genius.  It gives you a "Word of the Day" a few times a week.  Well, this blog is something I wanted to use to help anybody understand the importance of words.  How what you say and how you say it MATTERS! I do not remember subscribing to this email so it was odd that I got it.  And then continued to get it.  Honestly, there was my sign.... it was time to write.  It was time to share.  It was time to step out of my box and try something new.  So many changes going on personally for me that hey, why not try one more thing that is new? 

So, as we go along, I will share myself with you.  Even if there is just one person who reads anything I write and has a better day for it, I have accomplished my goal.  So, buckle up and let's roll down this word highway together.
